JOIN THE NETWORK

Considered work, senior clients, real client outcomes

We build project teams from a small, curated network of senior practitioners across health and care. If you have a decade of the right kind of experience and prefer a considered brief to a bench, we would like to know you.

Who we work with

A deliberately broad network of specialists

The problems we are asked to solve almost never sit in one professional lane. A workforce plan for an acute trust needs analysts as much as it needs people directors. A UEC diagnostic needs paramedics and OD leads sat alongside operational directors. Our associate network is deliberately built across the disciplines that matter to how health and care is actually delivered.

People professionals

Directors, senior heads and specialists across strategic workforce planning, OD, resourcing, reward, ER, employee experience and workforce data.

Transformation professionals

Programme directors, PMO leads and change specialists with real delivery track records on service reconfiguration, TOM implementation, mergers and new-build programmes.

Analysts and modellers

Workforce, finance, activity and population analysts. Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, Anaplan, SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, advanced Excel - and the judgement to know when a model is being asked the wrong question.

Operational leaders

Chief operating officers, service directors, general managers - people who have run the operation and can tell a working plan from a slide.

Medics

Consultants and senior doctors who bring clinical realism to service redesign, medical workforce strategy, revalidation and job planning work.

Nurses, midwives and clinical leads

Senior clinical voices for skill-mix redesign, safe staffing, clinical governance and workforce productivity - across acute, community and mental health settings.

Allied Health Professionals

AHPs across the fourteen registered professions - therapies, diagnostics, rehab, pharmacy - increasingly central to the workforce redesign conversation.

How the network works

Selective, transparent, and built around your time

  • We match briefs to people, not people to briefs. When a client engagement lands, we approach the associates whose experience genuinely fits. Nobody is on a bench waiting to be sold. If the fit is not there, you do not hear about the brief.
  • We are upfront about rates, IR35 and procurement route. Every engagement is either delivered under a Health Dynamics consultancy contract or, when the client prefers a framework interim placement, routed through our recruitment partner Hunter Healthcare. We tell you which before you commit.
  • You keep your practice. Being an associate does not preclude your other work. Most of our associates have their own portfolio and pick up Health Dynamics briefs where they add to it, not compete with it.
  • We stay in touch, without noise. A short quarterly note, occasional invitations to join specific briefs, and clear conversations when a piece of work is worth talking about. No newsletters, no CRM chase.
What we look for

A short honest list

  • Ten years of the right kind of experience for your discipline, or five years of exceptional experience
  • A track record you can talk about with specifics - programmes, numbers, outcomes, learning
  • Comfort operating at director or clinical lead level in NHS or independent settings
  • Ability to write cleanly and speak plainly in front of a board
  • A working knowledge of workforce, transformation or population health as they actually land in a health and care organisation
  • A view on what good looks like, and the humility to hold it lightly

A short form, and then a conversation

Tell us a little about yourself. If your profile looks like a fit for the network, we will get in touch to arrange an introductory call.

The kind of work you enjoy, the kind of problem you handle well, and anything specific we should know. 150 - 200 words is plenty.
What happens next

A short, considered process

  1. We read every submission personally. If your background looks like a fit, we come back to you within ten working days to arrange an introductory call.
  2. The call is a genuine conversation, not an interview. We tell you honestly whether the network is the right fit for you as well as the other way around.
  3. If we both want to take it further, we send a short associate agreement, add you to the network and stay in touch about relevant briefs.
  4. There is no obligation on either side to take on work, and no expectation of exclusivity.
