Cookies policy

How Health Dynamics Consulting Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on healthdynamics.co.uk and its connected services. In plain English, with clear controls.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit. Cookies let a site remember things about your visit - preferences, sessions, whether you have already been asked to consent to something. Similar technologies include local storage, pixel tags and tracking scripts; wherever we say "cookies" in this policy we mean cookies and any similar technology.

Categories of cookie we use

Strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the site to function. They do things like remember your session, keep a form submission going, or hold your preference on the cookie banner itself. They do not need your consent under UK law.

Analytics cookies. If enabled on your visit, these help us understand how the site is used - which pages are visited, how long visits last, whether visitors are new or returning. We use Google Analytics for this. We use the aggregated results only, not to identify individuals. Analytics cookies are only set if you have given consent.

Functional cookies for connected services. If you interact with our CRM contact form, register for our Academy, or use a social login option, cookies from those services may be set. See the third-party list below for detail and links to each provider's policy.

We do not use advertising or ad-retargeting cookies. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.

Third parties whose cookies may be set

The tools we use across our site and Academy that may set cookies:

  • Google Analytics - website usage measurement. Cookies typically set: _ga, _gid, _gat. See google.com/policies/technologies/cookies and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to opt out at browser level.
  • Capsule CRM - our customer relationship management system. If we embed a Capsule contact form on the site, Capsule may set a session cookie for form functionality. See capsulecrm.com/privacy-policy.
  • Thinkific - the platform that hosts our Health Dynamics Academy. When you visit or register on the Academy, Thinkific sets cookies for authentication, session management, course progress and Thinkific's own analytics. See thinkific.com/privacy-policy.
  • Social login providers (Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Facebook) - if you choose to sign in to our Academy using a social account, the relevant provider will set cookies to authenticate you and manage your session. Each provider publishes its own cookie policy: Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Facebook.
  • Google Fonts - font delivery. Google's fonts service does not use cookies; requests are logged for a short period for security.
  • Embedded content (YouTube etc.) - if we embed a video, the platform may set cookies once you press play. See google.com/policies/technologies/cookies.
  • LinkedIn - if you click a LinkedIn link (for example our company page), LinkedIn may set cookies on their site. See linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.

Managing cookies

You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most browsers allow you to see which cookies have been set, delete them individually or in bulk, and block cookies from specific sites or from all sites. Instructions for the main browsers:

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site or Academy to stop working.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change the cookies or scripts used on the site or Academy. Material changes will be communicated on this page. This version was last updated in September 2026.
